Going up to Cima del Cacciatore from the southern route (CAI615) is very suggestive but care must be taken. The last section before the top shows a steel cable on a very steep, slippery route, with few holds and for the most part almost overhanging. It should also be noted on 07/09/2023 that a nail, just before halfway through, was pulled out, with the consequent steel rope not attached to the wall. In addition, particularly slippery gravelly terrain and the presence of some small rock straddles on the void without ropes or hooks. Suitable equipment is recommended for the passage of this portion of the path, which is much more difficult than the other part, i.e. the one facing Lussari.
