This magnificent waterfall can be seen from the Old Mill. However, if you want to climb to the viewing platform, an even more impressive view of the cascading water awaits you.

After a steep climb, you'll have a wonderful view of the icefall from the platform. Unfortunately, during my visit, the sun was shining directly over the edge of the waterfall, creating a massive glare. So, plan for the right time of day.

A popular hiking destination, but go outside the main hiking season, early in the morning or late in the afternoon (beware of afternoon thunderstorms!!) and you might have this gorgeous haven all to yourself.

Beautiful mountain hut, friendly staff, easily reachable goal with a path through the woods in two hours. Or without poetry with a forest road.

Just try the different types of water, including the sulphurous one.

Approximately 300 meters above sea level on asphalt, comfortably and steeply uphill. Then the descent along the hiking trail is quite steep.
