The spring was discovered in the early 1960s during the construction of the forest road, capped, and inaugurated on November 3, 1968, St. Hubert's Day. It is dedicated to St. Hubert, the patron saint of hunters and marksmen.

A great lake with plenty of benches, sun loungers, and rest areas. A nice playground and a pool for refreshments are right next door. The lake is tiered with varying depths. Restrooms are nearby, at the parking lot, and they are very clean.
