Lake Corlo is crossed by 3 bridges close together, at the Rocca d'Arsiè bottleneck: the Polo Bridge, the Bassane Bridge and the Vittoria Bridge. The work of Marco Martalar, “The Vaia di Marcesina eagle”, with its 7 meters in height and 5 in length, and weighing 1,600 kilograms, is the largest wooden eagle in Europe. To make it, the artist from Roana used 1800 vines, 100 meters of larch boards and murals covered with 1500 pieces of roots and other material collected within a radius of one km. It was created to commemorate the terrible catastrophe that destroyed entire woods on the plain of Marcesina, which later became the site of the largest forest construction site in Europe. The road appears to be closed due to a barrier in Pedencino (town at the beginning of the climb) but it can be traveled on without problems by bicycle and is very beautiful. A pleasant climb away from the traffic to reach Incino and the Corlo lake area.
