It runs like a rollercoaster along the Sarca in numerous curves, mostly completely separated from the traffic. You just have to be careful not to rush into oncoming traffic, because the speed is sometimes high and the path is quite narrow.

The Valle del Sarca cycle path, also known as the "Valle dei Laghi cycle path" is one of the most beautiful and famous cycle paths in all of Italy. It is about 30 km long and passes through wonderful scenic landscapes and expanses of apple orchards and vineyards.
