The Sandonatese area is crossed by a series of inter-municipal cycle paths which mainly run along the banks of the rivers reaching the coast. The value of these routes is mainly tourist-naturalistic given the high environmental quality of the area. The route is made up of two sections: the first is a connecting ring, between the left and right banks, between San Donà di Piave, Fossalta di Piave and Noventa di Piave and crosses their river parks. The second section connects the urban area of San Donà di Piave and Musile, then joins the old cattle track of the ancient "restera dei burci", arriving at Caposile where the waters of the Sile and Taglio del Sile flow together and cross the ancient bed of the Piave near the characteristic balance bridge. Just beyond the horizon it opens onto the northern lagoon of Venice.

Beautiful bike path at the top of the Piave embankment. Rides well, has 1-2 spots where the sand/gravel gets a bit deep, but you can tell that in advance. In strong winds, it is better to take the trail directly down by the river because you are more protected from the wind.
