ブレンタ川サイクリングロードは、トレンティーノ州のカルドンツァーノとヴェネツィアラグーンに面したキオッジャを結ぶ、約140キロメートルの風光明媚なサイクリングルートです。このルートはブレンタ川に沿って走り、驚くほど多様な風景を提供します。ヴァルスガーナサイクリングロードとして知られる最初の区間は、湖畔の山々を穏やかに下り、その後、森、岩壁、そしてバッサーノ・デル・グラッパのような歴史的な村々が豊かな谷へと入っていきます。ヴェネツィア平野に向かって進むと、パドヴァのような重要な芸術都市を通り抜け、有名なリヴィエラ・デル・ブレンタへと姿を変えます。ここは、壮大なパラディオ様式の邸宅や貴族の邸宅で有名です。ルートは最終的にアドリア海への入り口で終わります。主に平坦で、大部分が舗装されているか、しっかりした未舗装路なので、あらゆるレベルのサイクリストに適しています。

If you cycle up Monte Grappa, you should not miss a visit to the "Ossarium", a monumental memorial to the soldiers who died here in the senseless trench warfare during the First World War. The road up Monte Grappa ends at a large car park at Rifugio Bassano. From here, it is only a long flight of stairs to the Ossarium and then you can admire the extensive Ossarium and enjoy the overwhelming view. On my first visit, I pushed my racing bike up the stairs because I didn't have a lock with me. On my second visit with my friend, we locked the bikes in the car park and climbed up.

The bike path is very well developed and well signposted throughout. It's almost impossible to go wrong. The view of the surrounding mountains is very beautiful and there are good bike stations that invite you to eat, rest and relax.
