The Kühlungsborn marina is a lively hub of the Baltic Sea resort, inviting visitors to stroll and linger with its maritime flair. Directly in front of it runs the harbor promenade, lined with restaurants, cafés, and small shops, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Visitors can admire the moored sailboats and motorboats, gaze out over the Baltic Sea, or enjoy the sunset. Especially in summer, there is a lively atmosphere, when vacationers, locals, and sailors come together to experience the special Kühlungsborn harbor atmosphere.

The fish sandwich stall is a good recommendation.

A cute little harbor with a promenade and many small pubs.

Beautiful views of the Baltic Sea, and usually few people around. And always pay attention to the path; in some places, the cliff edge is very close.

Top-notch bike path: good asphalt, and even better: magnificent views over the Salzhaff waters. It's prone to wind, so it's best to pay attention to the wind direction.

Anyone approaching Rerik should take this detour: the old fishing village appears across the water. The promenade takes you directly along the water to the harbor and pier.
