The village of Castel di Fiori is a small, well-preserved medieval Umbrian town. The statue of Saint Michael the Archangel dominating the central square is particularly distinctive. It was created in 1937 by sculptor Michele Perla, who was inspired by the one preserved in the sanctuary of Monte Sant'Angelo, in the province of Foggia.

La Scarzuola is located just outside the Montegiove district of the municipality of Montegabbione in the province of Terni in Umbria, Italy. It is not a village, not a castle, not a city, not a house. La Scarzuola cannot be defined physically, it is soul, it is in the quantum, it is and it is not. La Scarzuola welcomes everyone but is recommended for the open-minded! It is known for the ancient monastery where, according to tradition, St. Francis of Assisi lived, as well as for the villa in the form of a "theatre city" designed and built as one in the 20th century by the Milanese architect Tomaso Buzzi personal interpretation of the theme of the "ideal city".
