A beautiful valley, both for the ascent and descent! Currently (end of September 2025) it is closed due to slope stabilization work.

The straw sculpture competition has been held every two years for 20 years now. Giant or at least life-size sculptures are crafted from straw. Rustic substructures, which are later no longer visible due to the attention to detail, are created in sheds, barns, and garages around Höchenschwanderberg. Skilled craftsmanship is just as important as the meticulous detail, such as weaving or braiding straw, to make the figures shine in size, splendor, and grandiose appearance. The sculptures can be viewed free of charge every day on a large meadow near the farmers' market in the Frohnschwand district on the B500. Food and drink are provided daily. A large pumpkin market also takes place right next door.

The historic Rößle country inn is always worth a visit. You can sit comfortably inside or outside under the large linden tree. The staff is always very friendly, and they focus on regional, seasonal, and delicious cuisine. The rooms are stylishly renovated and furnished in a contemporary style.

A charming little village on the side of the road with a small chapel and a large wooden viewing platform. The view sweeps far over the Hotzenwald heights to the Swiss Jura.

There isn't much to see at the factory, but biking along the Föhrenbach stream is absolutely fantastic!

Well - if you are in Nöggenschwil or the area, a break here in the Gretstube is worth it!

The scenery is exciting, and so is the surface. Concrete slabs are something special.
