This lake was flooded in the 1970s. It's a "miracle" how nature has evolved during this time. It gives us a glimpse of what the Lusatian lake landscape might one day look like.

The cycle paths around the lakes are simply fun, well laid out, wide enough, in good condition and with plenty of rest areas for a break🥰

The tempting white sandy beach invites you to take a refreshing dip in the lake!! 🤗 And there's also a decent restroom for when you need to go to the toilet. 👍🏼

It's a very beautiful circular route with some fantastic views of the lake. A great way to engage even those less keen on cycling (I speak from experience). It's also suitable for children, as there are plenty of playgrounds and rest areas. Plus, the trail is completely flat.

A superbly maintained cyclist rest area. Decorated with small works of art and there are knitted/crocheted pieces at the rest area and the surrounding signposts - simply beautiful and worth seeing.
