In Finsterwalde, Friedrich-Hebbel-Str. there is a brick house built by the town in 1928. The facade is decorated with 29 motifs from Grimm's fairy tales. former railway line Lukau-Crinitz-Finsterwalde. The line was put into operation in 1911, passenger traffic was discontinued in 1968 and freight traffic in 1994. In 1995 the Niederlausitzer Museumseisenbahn was founded and in 2002 took over the route between Finsterwalde and Crinitz. Since then, museum trips have been held on the 17 km long route a few days a year.

A multi-family house from 1928. The well-preserved clinker brick facade was very elaborately designed with pictures from the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm.
