Croce Serra is a town in Andrate located on the ridge of the Serra d'Ivrea, a glacial moraine that separates the Ivrea plain from the Aosta valley. Here is Castello Rubino, a historic residence of Biella industrialists built in the 1920s with towers, loggias and battlements.

Black Lake is one of the five lakes found in the morainic amphitheater of Ivrea. Its name derives from the dark color of its waters, due to the vegetation that surrounds it. It is a place of naturalistic and faunal interest, but it is also surrounded by legends and mysteries, which increase its charm.
