Rose bushes often grow along the edges of vine rows: an ancient tradition that combines beauty and utility. Roses, more susceptible to vine diseases, act as natural "sentinels," warning of any problems first, as well as attracting beneficial insects and adding color to the vineyards.

The fountain is beautiful, the tap at the back with drinkable water is convenient and useful, and the sign summarizing the history of the Asti aqueduct (which takes water from Cantarana) is very interesting.

Small village, nothing special

We originally didn't want to stop here and were glad we had a break including a snack. There are lots of small cafes and bars and beautiful arcades. We decided on the Café Bar Sacco, which is beautifully located opposite the Municipio and next to the Church of San Giuseppe.
