In Bristow, the horse watering trough was built in 1855 as part of the expansion of the estate by Count Carl August Ludwig von Bassewitz-Levetzow. It is one of the remarkable features of the complex, along with the stables, granary, poultry house, and the famous Renaissance church.

A fieldstone building with brick detailing, a magnificently designed blind gable, and a tower with two Renaissance bells dating from 1598. The Renaissance altar (circa 1600): Unique in Central Europe with its original paintwork, six meters wide, and featuring carved reliefs (e.g., the Nativity, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection). It is considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance altars in village churches throughout Germany.

An architectural highlight! The lower section served as housing for poultry such as chickens, ducks, geese, and possibly exotic ornamental birds (e.g., mandarin ducks or peacocks). The upper structure on the roof functioned as a dovecote (pigeon house). More recently, it has been restored and now partially houses a small museum (e.g., the "Cinderella Museum") that provides information about the history of pigeon keeping.

The royal stables were built in 1866 under Count Carl August von Bassewitz-Levetzow in the Tudor style! The family significantly shaped the complex until their expropriation in 1945 as part of the land reform in the Soviet occupation zone.

The former granary was built in 1868 under Count Carl August von Bassewitz-Levetzow! The estate is a remarkable ensemble, deliberately oriented towards the church. It has been listed as a historical monument in the Rostock district as a whole (including the church, mausoleum, and farm buildings) and is considered an architectural unit of high artistic and historical significance.

The original manor house was built in 1866 in the Tudor style; it burned down in 1919 and was not rebuilt. The von Bassewitz family subsequently moved into a converted farm building (the former steward's/inspector's house).

The burial chapel was built in 1874 and contains the remains of members of the von Bassewitz family.

In 1845, Count von Bassewitz-Levetzow acquired the Bristow estate from the von Hahn family. The fieldstone barn was built under his ownership around 1855.
