素晴らしい乗り心地、ほとんど車がない

城は、広い堀に囲まれた二重構造でした。北に位置する主郭からは、高さ100メートルに及ぶ壮大な城郭の遺構が残っています。城壁は3メートル以上の厚さがあります。窪地の後には、南側に直径50メートルの城壁に囲まれた大きな外郭が続き、その城壁の大部分が保存されています。この城は三十年戦争中および1716年と1717年にひどく損傷しました。しかし、1750年まで城には人が住んでいました。

眺望を期待してここに来る人は、非常にがっかりするでしょう。木々が眺望を遮っているからです。この小さな塔が建てられたとき、木が成長するということを忘れていたのでしょう。木々の上を眺めたいなら、塔はあと10メートル高くする必要があるでしょう。しかし、50メートル先にある悲しみのブナの木は巨大で、中を覗いてみると非常に興味深いです。

ここでは急いで下り坂になります。しかし、村では右折してから再び上り坂になります。メクレンブルクのスイスはほぼ到達しています。

The miller's house on the Ulrichshusen estate (in Tressow) is a historic building on the estate grounds, now used as holiday accommodation. The miller's house is not a spectacular, standalone monument with its own extensive history, but rather an authentic remnant of the Ulrichshusen estate's agricultural operations – lovingly restored today and part of the von Maltzahn family's successful tourism and cultural project.

A fieldstone building with brick detailing, a magnificently designed blind gable, and a tower with two Renaissance bells dating from 1598. The Renaissance altar (circa 1600): Unique in Central Europe with its original paintwork, six meters wide, and featuring carved reliefs (e.g., the Nativity, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection). It is considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance altars in village churches throughout Germany.

An architectural highlight! The lower section served as housing for poultry such as chickens, ducks, geese, and possibly exotic ornamental birds (e.g., mandarin ducks or peacocks). The upper structure on the roof functioned as a dovecote (pigeon house). More recently, it has been restored and now partially houses a small museum (e.g., the "Cinderella Museum") that provides information about the history of pigeon keeping.

The burial chapel was built in 1874 and contains the remains of members of the von Bassewitz family.
