And stonemason Christian Späte isn't even bothered if not everyone recognizes at first glance that the replica milk bench, complete with its many cans, is cast in concrete. That's what the artist intended. And that's not all the surprises. The milk bench can do much more. Properly staged as a fountain, water bubbles from four cans through foam jets. "It looks like milk," explains Späte. With the design of his fountain, for which the Kayna resident received approval from the Kayna municipal council, the stonemason fulfilled a childhood dream.
