The Schnopfhagen monument on the Hansberg commemorates Hans Schnopfhagen (1845-1908). Schnopfhagen was a composer, local poet and pedagogue. Until his death, Hans Schnopfhagen was a teacher and headmaster in the neighboring community of St. Veit. He also wrote the “Hoamtgsang,” which has been the Upper Austrian national anthem since 1953.

One of the rest areas on the "Kraft-Quelle-Baum-Weg". But not one of the five "official" rest areas that are spread out along the path. For me, by far the most beautiful, and more than worthy of being included in the circle of official Kraft-Quelle-Baum rest areas ;-) It's not just the location that's a dream. But it's even surpassed by an overwhelming view!! As far as I know, such an Alpine panorama is unique in this area!
