Northwest of the town center of Oberndorf near Salzburg, separated by the Salzachknie, the baroque Calvary Chapel is located on a hill above the Salzach on Calvary Hill. The Calvary Stairs with 139 steps lead to the high, semicircular chapel that is open at the front.
