Fascinating landscape, always worth a trip 👌👍

The Sentiero di Gandria or dell'Olivo is a beautiful route that connects Castagnola to Gandria, on the shore of Lake Lugano. The path, a few steps from the water, winds through olive trees and gardens. Absolutely worth doing.

The view is spectacular and overlooking the lake. Be careful because the path runs alongside a dizzying cliff.

Pian di Scagno is the crossroads of several itineraries, in particular towards Monte Boglia, Denti della Vecchia and Val Solda.

Gandria is a pretty village on the shores of Lake Lugano. The village has very ancient origins and once lived on fishing and olive oil production. This is no longer the case, but today you can still admire the marina and residential buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries.

From the Monte Brè Belvedere you can admire a grandiose view of the Ceresio Gulf, the Alps and Monte Rosa.

An ancient rural village typical of Ticino, Brè also offers the opportunity to admire the creations of established artists, known nationally and internationally, along a route that starts from the square in front of the church. From the village you can also enjoy a splendid view of Lake Lugano and Monte Brè.

Monte Boglia is a peak that dominates the whole of Lake Lugano, it can be reached from both Italy and Switzerland, the effort once you get to the top is entirely rewarded by the extraordinary beauty of this place.
