Monte Fornello is a very scenic peak despite its moderate elevation. It's easily accessible on foot or by mountain bike. It's also a lovely place for a family hike.

I confirm, I recently travelled it and the whole route from Voladora to Panocchia is in very bad condition.

The patronage of this church—dedicated to Saint Thomas of Canterbury—takes us geographically away from the Italian peninsula, across the Alps, and further north to the British Isles.
