This place is definitely worth a visit for its perfect balance of epic history and breathtaking views. It's one of the most spectacular vantage points in the Carnic Prealps. Historical Testimony: Exploring the remains of the outpost and armored battery from the Great War is a moving experience. The echoes of the strenuous defense of 1917 can still be felt. Iconic Climb: The old military road that climbs to the fort is a masterpiece of engineering, with constant gradients and hairpin bends that make the journey (on foot or by mountain bike) rewarding and never monotonous. On the saddle between the Festa and the San Simeone some buildings used as an outpost.
