The stilt houses, known as trabocchi, are typical of the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. These fishing gallows, or fish scales, were used for fishing. The Trabucco Punto Isolata is now a restaurant where you can eat fish. Be sure to check the opening times beforehand, otherwise you'll end up like us and it's a day off.

One of the few trabocchi, not transformed into a restaurant and visitable thanks to the availability of the custodian who invites you to enter, telling you the history of this artifact.
