It is located on the busiest part of the Costa dei Trabocchi. On holidays and in the high season it is a very crowded point so you have to be careful with bikes, especially pedestrians and children. I highly recommend everyone to continue southwards to Punta Aderci (total 45km from Ortona) to enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the region.

Trabocco Punta Tufano, now a restaurant, is the most characteristic because it is equipped with the typical fishing nets.

If you can do this Via Verde dei Trabocchi on weekdays it is much more pleasant because there will be fewer people. However it is really worth it.
