The Boot Fountain is more than just a water feature; it tells a story in a charming way and delights the eye with its original design.

After Sörmtitz the cycle path goes steeply uphill, then nice and flat along the hollow. At the wall of the railway line there is a narrow section and shortly after that there is no asphalt. But they have probably done something there, it is easy to cycle along the hollow and then you have a view of the Ebersbach manor.

The Protestant parish church of Niederstriegis was built between 1849 and 1950 in the classicist style.

Rest area located right at the start of the cycle path, completely in the shade. The Striegis estuary is hidden on the other side of the road 😉
