1930年代半ばには、ハンマーを博物館として活用するアイデアが生まれました。なぜなら、ハンマーはフライベルクスドルフのハンマー工場と並んで、エルツ山地に残る唯一のハンマーであり、したがって重要な技術文化記念物であったからです。1939年に、ザクセン郷土保護連盟とエルツ山地協会の支援を受けて修復し、博物館として再利用するために、この施設は自治体によって買収されました。しかし、第二次世界大戦により、計画の実施は一時的に妨げられました。1949年に保存作業が再び始まりましたが、非常に遅々として進みました。1969年5月1日にようやく、この文化記念物が技術展示施設として一般に公開できるようになりました。その後数年間で、屋外エリアも整備されました。1991年から2000年の間に、改修または再建作業が行われました。ハンマー（テールハンマー）とそのために必要な設備技術は、完全に機能的な状態で保存されています。ハンマーの隣にある郷土博物館は、エルツ山地での生活を垣間見ることができます。 出典：Wikipedia

"The Protestant Church of Dorfchemnitz is a Renaissance hall church in Dorfchemnitz. It is known for its well-preserved organ from the Neoclassical period by Johann Christian Kayser, which is still strongly influenced by the tradition of Gottfried Silbermann. A simple pulpit altar from the early 19th century forms the centerpiece of the furnishings. Attached to the pulpit's basket are three painted carved figures of Christ, Luke, and Mark, probably from the early 18th century. The other two evangelists are placed on two consoles above the altar mensa. Above the gable is a large, colorfully painted crucifix from the 16th century. A beautiful symbol of peace that can be found in important churches in Germany and around the world.

The Wolfsgrund stop existed throughout the railway's existence between 1897 and 1967. After the line was closed, the station building was moved to the nearby bus stop and has been preserved as a bus shelter to this day.

The elevated structures included a wooden waiting room, a toilet, and a freight car body. After the station was closed, the waiting room was demolished in the 1970s. While the loading area, the BHG building, and the former station restaurant still exist, the track area was built over with garages.
