The small village of Durnholz, located on the lake, is car-free. There is a parking lot in front of the village.

A good starting point for numerous tours. A lovely town center with small shops, restaurants, and cafes.

A very large herd of animals. In 9/25, there was no hot food from the kitchen after 3 p.m.

The Stoffel Hut is a central hub for hikers and cyclists. For some, it's their day's destination, but for many, it's an important stopover and orientation point on their way to the Eisack or Sarntal valleys. From here, paths and hiking trails continue to the refuge and the Latzfonzer Kreuz church, which many visitors head for.

In the middle of nature lies the idyllic Durnholzer Lake
