Drena Castle dominates the middle Sarca Valley from above, perched on a rocky spur that offers a wide view of vineyards, olive groves and the Marocche. Reaching it by bike is short but intense: whether you go up from Dro or Braila, the slopes are felt, especially in the last few meters. The castle is a perfect stop for a panoramic break: you can enter and climb the tower to admire the valley from above or simply rest in the shade of its walls.

A 25-meter-high quadrangular keep of medieval origin, in the province of Trento, Drena Castle can be visited during FAI days and hosts events, art exhibitions, weddings and concerts. The city walls are currently being restored.

Spectacular building also known as the Castle of Trento, located in the centre of the city and currently adapted and converted into a historical museum. It was the residence of the prince-bishops and has its origins - visible today - in the large tower built in the 13th century. In 1475 it was renovated in the Gothic style of the time, which can be seen in some details of the rooms. There are also the cells of the soldiers who were prisoners of the First World War and who were shot in the castle moat, although these are not open to the public.

Great castle from the outside, unfortunately it was closed on Monday.

A small lake surrounded by trees, a cycle path all the way around - that's something to enjoy.

Located right at the exit of a via ferrata, definitely worth a visit, great view🙋‍♂️
