Spectacular building also known as the Castle of Trento, located in the centre of the city and currently adapted and converted into a historical museum.
It was the residence of the prince-bishops and has its origins - visible today - in the large tower built in the 13th century.
In 1475 it was renovated in the Gothic style of the time, which can be seen in some details of the rooms.
There are also the cells of the soldiers who were prisoners of the First World War and who were shot in the castle moat, although these are not open to the public.

The castle is really very beautiful and also very large. The visit lasts about two hours if you also opt for the eagle tower. The museum narrates the history of Trento from the Roman period to the post-World War II period. The finds are magnificent and give you an idea of how people lived in each period (Roman - medieval - post World War II)
There are several frescoes and the gardens are very beautiful and well-kept.
