Beautiful 2 hour walk, the first part, walking on a very wide, shaded road, talking alongside friends

The entire first part, lasting approximately 1 hour, is a gentle climb, for a walk with friends, exchanging a chat, on a very wide, shaded path that runs alongside the stream. The second part begins to climb, becoming a narrow and quite steep path, but to be done without any problem. The third part is a classic steep and narrow path, to reach the bivouac at the top, which however I did not do

The waterfall takes its name from a nearby convent of the Capuchin Friars. An artist from Sovere, Marco Meloni, has created two works, one of which represents the tails of two whales coming out of the water.

The Val Vertova puddle path is an easy route, which in less than 20 minutes takes you to the first puddles where you can cool off. You'll also find giant potholes, waterfalls and fords along the trail. Beautiful route, especially in summer.

Val de Gru is the terminal waterfall of the Val Vertova puddle path. It is the largest waterfall on the Val Vertova pool trail, which forms thanks to one of the lateral tributaries of the Val de Gru. From here the path continues up to the Testa bivouac.
