Near Haßbergen, there are a few fish ponds directly on the Weser River. A rest here is certainly a pleasant experience. A wonderful idyll, a relaxed atmosphere.

The weir (for river regulation and power generation) and the lock at Sebbenhausen (for the shipping route that is four kilometers shorter) were put into operation 65 years ago after a construction period of three years (1953 to 1956).
