The 314-meter-long bridge was built between 1875 and 1878 during the construction of the Koblenz-Trier railway line as part of the "Kanonenbahn" (Cannon Railway). @Madakilroy Yes, the marker/position is correct, the first photo is from exactly there. And the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig actually leads there.

The town hall of Zell is home to the mayor's office, the Zeller Land Tourismus GmbH, the wine and local history museum, the town library and event rooms.

From here you have a beautiful view of Altlay and the surrounding heights of the Hunsrück. The “picture frame” makes a lovely photo motif.
