The Sabine city of Trebula Mutuesca, (or Trebula Mutusca) mentioned by Publius Virgilio Marone in the Aeneid, was located in Lazio, in the province of Rieti, in the territory of the current town of Monteleone Sabino, at 496 meters above sea level , on the southern slopes of the Sabine mountains, about 60 km from Rome. Quiet and relaxing path in the woods that ends in a small rest area equipped with picnic tables. Great view. It is advisable to return to the starting point by following the same route as the outward journey, without attempting the ring enticed by the "path" (it is not a path but you walk among the meadows) marked on the Komoot map.
