Separated from the road with motorized traffic, a cycle path leads from Courtedoux to Chevenez. In some sections, it even runs completely away from the road, right through fields.

The relatively quiet main road between Courchavon and Courtemaiche runs alongside the small stream. Nothing special, but still beautiful.

The beautiful old stone railway bridge crosses the valley with the road to the Col des Rangiers. The slender yet mighty bridge arches can be seen from afar and also mark the beginning of the climb.

Before the construction of the motorway, this was an important pass between St-Ursanne and Courgenay; now it's quieter and therefore more attractive to road cyclists. The pass itself is unspectacular—apart from the sign with the altitude and an information board about visiting the 2012 Tour de France, there's little to justify a longer stay.

The former railway line between Dannemarie and Pfetterhouse has been redesigned according to the well-known French principle as a perfect "piste cyclable" or "voie vert." Good asphalt, gentle gradients, and, above all, a lack of motorized traffic entice you to glide along at a brisk pace. Often through beautiful forests or through fields, only occasionally do you have to cross a road where there used to be a tunnel or bridge, which has unfortunately been dismantled.

At the start of the long Voie Vert route on the former railway line between Dannemarie and Pfetterhouse, you'll also find the Dannemarie town sign with a small statue. From here, keep left until you reach the actual cycle path.

A hidden gem in the Jura. A village not well-known in throughout Switzerland but well worth the visit, Home to Louis Chevrolet, inventor and mechanic, the one who founded the US motorcar company Chevrolet. The emblem on the Chevrolet car was actually the Swiss flag incorporated into the brand. There is also a watch company in Porrentruy from Chevrolet bering his name and still producing quality watches. The city has so many out door cafés with terraces.
