The Käsenberg is always worth a visit!

Cousimbert is a summit in the Swiss canton of Fribourg, with an altitude of 1,633 meters. It offers a breathtaking view of Lake Gruyère and the surrounding Alps. One of the best ways to enjoy this scenic spot is to hike the Cousimbert Circular Trail, a moderate 5.8-mile loop that leaves from the Grau Rappo parking lot and passes several alpine huts where you can sample local specialties. The trail is suitable for running and is best visited from May to October. If you're looking for a challenge, you can also extend your run to the nearby peak of La Berra, which is 1,719 meters high and has a cable car station. Whether you choose the shortest or longest route, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views and a memorable experience.

Chrüezflue is a peak in the Swiss Alps, with an altitude of 1,602 meters. It offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills, as well as the nearby Schwarzsee Lake. One of the best ways to appreciate the Chrüezflue is to hike the loop trail from Plasselb, a small village in the canton of Fribourg.

The ladder is located high up on the unofficial hiking trail from Gross Schwand to Chrüzflue. The path up through the forest is clearly visible and slowly winds its way up rocky steps to the ridge. About 500 meters further west is the official climb towards Chrüzflue. Parallel to this rise.

The Buvette Alp Flühkäseberg (Cousimbert des Particuliers) is located at 1488 m above sea level and has space for a maximum of 55 people. It also has a large terrace. There is a dormitory with 15 beds, another with 8 beds and also a room for 4 people. It is wheelchair accessible and can be reached by car.
