An understandably popular spot, but that's understandable with such a beautiful beach and lake. Besides swimming, stopping for the view is also worth it. You'll also find several restaurants and cafes nearby, such as the Boat House café and the Allt Mor café.

Picturesque little lake at the foot of a rock face. A nice place to stop and enjoy the view or even take a dip in the refreshing water.

We were able to try on our wetsuits for a swim in peace and quiet. Eating at the restaurant was disappointing: plenty of free seats, peak season, but they couldn't do anything for us at 7:00 PM other than provide us with some cold sandwiches to take away.

Quiet location, great panorama, water sports available, beautiful paths all around - what more could you want?

I thought I saw on the map that this was a good place to pitch my tent between the lakes, but that is not the case!

We stopped here on our hike and were unfortunately disappointed by both the accommodation (main building, in need of complete renovation!) and the restaurant (we didn't get any food because we, as hikers, arrived 30 minutes later than we had reserved)
