One of the stations on the Mysterious Time Signs trail network. A joint project by the communities of Hochspeyer, Fischbach, Enkenbach-Alsenborn and Mehlingen in 2008 with a total of 60 km and 50 stations. The information boards are very interesting and educational.

This memorial stone for forest director Udo Lenhard (*1934; +1990) stands near a crossroads with the following inscription: "If people had insight, the forest would have to last forever!" The very large sandstone boulder stands approx. 10 - 15 m away from the path and is surrounded by old oak and beech trees. On the opposite side of the forest path there are 4 (some of them dilapidated) seating areas.
