The town of Kurort Oberwiesenthal can take advantage of some interesting funding programs for numerous non-profit and investment projects. Especially in the border area with the Czech Republic, this offers opportunities to further connect and harmonize the diversity of our mountain region. One example of this is the Mill Cycle Path. Not only does it run off the B95, but also because its unique location along the border with/through the Czech Republic makes this a successful project that also contributes to good neighborly relations.

On the Keilberg there is also a very nice observation tower with a 360° view 🤩.

There is a fantastic bike park here. The Trail Park Klínovec is a MTB trail network served by a four-seater chairlift. 30 km of single trails of varying difficulty and 70 km of MTB routes on forest paths. Klínovec is known for its long flow trails - Azur trail (10.3 km), Rubin trail (8 km) and Baron trail (6 km) are among the longest gently sloping trails in Europe.

The Azur is a unique opportunity to ride a 10 km flow trail as a complete beginner. It's also great for the first bike park laps with ambitious children.
