Historically, it was part of the surrounding area of the large estates in the Stormarn region. Past and Present Use Nursing Home Era: For many decades, the Lindenhof Estate was widely known as a district nursing home. However, this lease agreement between the Stormarn district and the operators at the time was terminated. The Bredenbeker Teich (also called Bredsche) is a pond in the Stormarn district in the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein, west of the town of Ahrensburg. It is around 35 hectares in size and has an average depth of 1.3 m, a maximum of 3.2 m. Its shoreline is 6.1 km long and is accompanied by walking and driving paths to the south. The water of the pond flows via the Bredenbek, which also feeds it, the Alster and Elbe to the North Sea.
