Apart from a few crossings, the route is car-free on more or less good ground. Pleasantly shady in summer. On the way, the view sweeps over fields, pastures, meadows and moors and the peace and quiet that you have on the route when cycling invites you to break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and open your mind and senses to all impressions.

A beautiful cycle path that connects Glinde and Trittau. There is certainly a shorter route to Trittau, but this is the much nicer one. And you can tell that by how frequented this path is. It must also have been an experience to travel this route by train....

Nice gravel speed route in the tunnel valley between Ahrensburg and Rahlstedt.

It is incredibly beautiful in the Billetal. Wandering the loops is lovely.

The cycle path isn't very wide, and in some sections the bushes alongside it grow close together, forming a green canopy, as if you're cycling through a tunnel. But at the end of the tunnel, you can always see the bright light, showing you the way and waiting for you. 😉
