🦅 Closed periods for sea eagle conservation: • February 1 to July 31 This is the main breeding and rearing season for sea eagles. During this time, hiking trails and certain areas in protected areas are closed or have limited access.

Coming from Waterneversdorf, the path is signposted "Sea Eagle Protection Area - No Entry". So it's best to avoid it.

Although I'm not really a big fan of on-road bike paths, this section is really nice! A little up, a little down and quite entertaining thanks to the many curves. That's fun!

Sediments such as sand and gravel are removed by abrasion at another point and deposited here by sedimentation. This is how typical balancing coasts with dunes, wide sandy beaches and lagoons or spits are created.

Easy to drive paved foot/bike path next to the road.

There is a decent bike path almost entirely. From Hohwacht in the direction of Behrensdorf, however, it is not recommended in the season because there are far too many pedestrians and slow cyclists next to each other. However, the track is not very busy during the season either, and it's fine on the road. In Behrensdorf, the “west bypass” is great, no traffic at all (these are the pictures with the narrow street and the bushes on the left and right).
