Lake Trammer lies north of Plön, in the municipalities of Plön and Rathjensdorf. In 2017, the lake, along with other surrounding areas, was declared a landscape conservation area. It covers 163 hectares and has a maximum depth of 33.4 meters. The lake contains four uninhabited islands of varying sizes, the three largest being Groter Warder, Ziegen Warder, and Bornholts Warder. The islands of Groter Warder and Ziegen Warder are connected by a narrow strip of land. The lake's shoreline is 7.9 kilometers long, making it ideal for a walk around the lake. The lake's swimming area is located in the heart of Plön. Tip: From the Parnaßturm (Parnaß Tower) in Plön, you have a fantastic view of Lake Trammer and its islands.
