Beautiful Romanesque chapel in a park near the hospital. Listed as a historic monument and protected by UNESCO. Open with a bit of luck. When open, very helpful and informative members of the Landeck Castle Foundation, which has assumed sponsorship of the chapel since 2023, are present.

Super nice view from this point before continuing towards the castle.

The view over the vineyards and Klingenmünster to the mountains of the Palatinate Forest is magnificent. You can enjoy it during a short break - there are benches and picnic areas everywhere.

The Lauter, a stream from the Hochwald forest, runs through Wissembourg. This old mill can be found near the swimming pool. It is very idyllically situated, and a park with a restaurant nearby invites you to stop for refreshments.

It is worth turning left at the Wissembourg swimming pool, following the Lauter. The old mill is a gem from the past. The beautiful landscape park also includes a hotel where you can stop for refreshment.
