Inventory of Nørre Bjert Church The church's furnishings date predominantly from the 19th century, with the exception of an early Gothic crucifix from 1300, which hangs in the nave north of the chancel arch. The church's baptismal font is carved from granite and decorated with various reliefs, including a dove, plants, and a cross. The altarpiece dates from 1932 and consists of a gilded painting of the Ascension of Christ set in a frame whose corners are adorned with small paintings representing the symbols of the four Evangelists—an angel, an eagle, a lion, and an ox.
