The Café Zur Linde is located opposite the Catholic Church ⛪ in the heart ❤ of Langenberg. There you can eat and drink well and also charge e-bikes and e-cars. You can probably also stay overnight there. Excellent and very inviting.

St. Antonius is a beautiful church right in Benteler. Directly in front of it is the carillon in a very nice and large glass case with a sign. Next to it is the Antonoius fountain with clues. Opposite the main street is a nice pole and a public bookcase. The place in front of the church is really nice and informative.

THE OLD GUEST HOUSE "ZUR LINDE" Today's café “Zur Linde” is one of the oldest buildings in Westphalia, in which the hospitality industry has been operating for more than 500 years, and next to the church it can be considered the oldest building in Langenberg. It is mentioned in an ecclesiastical document as early as 1567. As the builder of today's house can after the inscription in the archway from 1649 Tonies tor Schueren apply. The name Tor Schuren (Zur Scheune) and the proximity to the pastorate suggest that the house was also used as a tithe barn for the donations in kind (tithe) of the faithful in Langenberg to the church was used. It will always have served as a hostel for the pilgrims on the old Way of St. James. A stele in front of the house has revived this meaning. The owners of this house have changed many times. Under Anton Erben, who inherited it from his father in 1794 and who was appointed "Maire" under Napoleon, the house was also the mayor's office. The names Trorlicht, Entrup, Biermann and Pagenkemper followed. The latter added a sculpture to the inn in 1919. The traditional house has been owned by the Glasemacher / Dirkwinkel family since 1998. They converted the “Alte Gasthaus Zur Linde” into the modern, yet rustic “Zur Linde” café, which is now known and loved beyond the borders of Langenberg.
