The Dalkeweg is also recommended as a day hike. Start at the Neue Mühle and follow the path through Gütersloh. Take a detour to the city park or the botanical garden. Take a break at the Wapelbad, the Parkbad, the Palmenhaus Café or the “Die Weberei” community center. The end point is Ruthmanns Mühle on Sürenheider Straße. Length of the path without detours is approximately 11km.
