現在の教会には、16世紀と17世紀の都市火災で破壊されたいくつかの前身となる建物があります。現在の教会の礎石は1854年に新古典主義様式で置かれ、そのデザインはシンケル学派の影響を受けています。西側の特徴的な教会の塔は、後年、1909年に増築され、アールヌーボー様式の影響が見られます。塔の尖塔は1988年の破壊後に改修が必要となり、2006年から2010年にかけて修復されました。

It was built in the 16th century and is only partially preserved due to destruction during the Thirty Years' War. The church is a three-aisled hall church, built largely of fieldstone, with a fieldstone tower. Buttresses support the building on the outside, and the interior is topped with groin vaults. The altar, dating from the early 16th century, features a painting of the Transfiguration of Christ.
