The Romanesque church "Zu Unserer Lieben Frau" was one of the first churches in the Swabian Alb. It was first mentioned in documents in 1219. However, a possible first church building can be dated to the Carolingian period, around the 9th century. This early medieval chapel was located in the area of today's nave.
