アムシュテッテン（ヴュルテンベルク州）には、2つの歴史的な鉄道線路があります。シュトゥットガルト - ウルムの主要路線より東には、ゲルシュテッテンまでの標準軌の路線があります。 この路線は、主要路線より西にあり、オッピンゲンまでの狭軌鉄道です。以前は、80年代まで、ライヒンゲンまでの定期運行がありました。

アムシュテッテン - オッピンゲン - ライヒンゲン狭軌鉄道は、80年代に廃止されました。その後、ウルム鉄道友の会が路線を引き継ぎ、アムシュテッテンからオッピンゲンまで再開しました。夏場の週末には蒸気機関車（森林火災の危険がある場合はディーゼル機関車）が運行します。
