We parked outside of town and then walked along the AAre. A great path for walking or cycling. De Aare has a very special color there.

The tower can be climbed from April 1 to October 31 for 3 francs per adult. From the top, you have a magnificent view of the old town, the Aare River, and the surrounding villages, as well as, of course, the Weissenstein, Solothurn's local mountain.
